Connection looks different for every child. We start with what matters to yours.
Feeling steady and comfortable around others.
Making friends, keeping them and navigating the ups and downs.
Building healthy connections with family, peers and adults.
Feeling part of something — at home, at school and beyond.
A steady, encouraging adult in their corner.
Taking part in groups, activities and community life.
Moving between schools, stages or big life changes.
Growing belief in who they are and what they can do.
We know that children often need more support than one appointment a fortnight can provide. That's why Allied Health Practitioner and Positive Behaviour Support are now part of our growing WellfirstKIDS team.
Our Allied Health Practitioner, Chloe, works alongside a child's existing therapy team — helping turn professional recommendations into practical, consistent support in everyday life. She doesn't replace a child's Speech Pathologist, OT or Psychologist; she works alongside them.
Chloe is also an accredited Positive Behaviour Support (BSP) practitioner. Because WellfirstKIDS is not NDIS registered (yet), she maintains her accreditation through ongoing supervision and delivers behaviour support in partnership with a certified NDIS provider — so families can access funded BSP support right across Brisbane and Ipswich. She works with a child's whole team to understand what their behaviour is communicating and build strategies that actually hold up at home, at school and in the community. Behaviour support is also available via remote sessions, giving families flexible access no matter where they are.
Support may focus on
There's no one-size-fits-all approach. Some children thrive in groups, others need one-to-one support first. Some need help making a single friend; others need help feeling brave in a new space.
We take the time to understand your child — their interests, their worries, their way of connecting — and shape support around that.
Depending on your child's needs and the pathways available, we'll suggest the approach that makes the most sense — and be honest if something isn't a good fit right now.
Let's have a conversation first.
