We primarily work with children from 2 years old through to 18 years, though our sweet spot is typically 3-12 years old. Our screeners are especially valuable for:

Screening sessions typically run 1.5-2 hours, depending on your child's age, attention span, and cooperation level. We work at your child's pace and can break sessions into shorter segments if needed. For younger children or those with attention difficulties, we might schedule multiple shorter sessions to ensure we get the best picture of their abilities.

Absolutely! We encourage parents to be present, especially for younger children who may feel more comfortable with you nearby. For some screeners, we might ask you to observe from a distance to see your child's independent responses, but you'll always be welcome in the room. Your presence often helps children feel safe and perform their best.

Our "Insights Without Labels" approach focuses on understanding your child's strengths and support needs rather than diagnostic labeling. While we don't provide formal medical diagnoses, our comprehensive screeners give you:

• Professional referral recommendations when needed

If a formal diagnosis is needed, we'll guide you to the appropriate professionals.

Our counselling service provides professional therapeutic support for children and young people dealing with emotional, behavioural, or social challenges. Our ACA Level 2 registered counsellor works with children from early childhood through young adulthood.
